It’s hard to believe once upon a time, dating was easy. Before algorithms and screens men and women met and conversed in public. An exchange in information most likely led to a relationship. At least that’s how it was in my circle of friends and family.

Even as teenagers, hitting the mall on the weekends was the thing to do. With barely any money for nothing more than a soda and some tokens for the arcade, one could easily walk out the mall with a few numbers on ripped pieces of paper in their pocket.

Those days are long gone. They were during a time when men and women actually liked each other. And weren’t overly critical of one another.

Now look at us. Nerds gave birth to social media initially to connect. And what did we do? Turned it into our personal 24 hour advertisement to flex, rant, prank, and give destructive advice on the dating game.

For the first time in decades we’re seeing an evolution in women regarding their views on relationships, marriage, and motherhood. Many women are choosing to opt out of marriage and bearing children.

And this is for many reasons.
