Well I’ll say this, you have a point in that because of his disability he may not have had the options. However, when it comes to how you treat someone I believe it boils down to character. Men and women in relationships/marriages have options they choose to not exercise because of who they are and what they believe in.

Single men/women treat people the way they do, not because of options necessarily but because of who they are as a person.

A nerd, square, “lame” or whatever is no less likely to cheat or be disrespectful due to a lack of options. It’s all in how we see ourselves and the world we live in.
