Everyone is so low key bothered they want to know how to become unbothered. We say we’re okay when we’re not. Act like we’re okay when we’re not.

The term fake it till you make it has taken on a whole new meaning. Social media timelines have become endless scrolls of everyone living their best life to dodging their haters, to having the ultimate “self esteem” with captions with hashtags #memyselfandI and loving me.

Denial is never a good thing. We can only trick ourselves for so long before implosion.

For those of you who have the unbothered-ness covered cool. For those of you who don’t, I got three keys to being unbothered plus one bonus — keep reading.

#1 Recognizing situations/people you can’t control

Sounds easy, cliche even. Often heard yet difficult to implement depending on the subject. However, it’s a reality that should be taken seriously because all sorts of things are at stake, i.e. health, freedom.

Instead of trying to control what you can’t. Take pride in what you can control and go from there. This will always give the impression of being unbothered.

#2 Determine value
