10 ways to be a blessing and not a grinch

The busy holiday season can be a stress on our mental, financial, and emotional health. Because of this, some years we don’t have it in us to be a jolly gift giver.

If you’re choosing to not participate in family and friend gift giving this year, here’s some ways to be a blessing to yourself and others.

#1 Donate

Plenty of businesses and organizations host toy drives. Pick up a toy or two on your next store visit. It’s sure to put a smile on a child’s face and your heart.

#2 Tithe

Not a church member? Haven’t established a church home or attended service in a long time? A lot of big churches accept tithes online. For smaller ones, call the office and ask how you can send a tithe. And don’t forget to say a prayer over your blessing.

#3 Sponsor

So many content creators sell books, courses, and offer one on one coaching at prices not everyone can afford. Reach out to a creator you like and ask if you can sponsor a product or service for a supporter who doesn’t have the means.

#4 Volunteer

Many non profits, homeless shelters, and the like could use an extra hand in…
