My Newest Writing Tool: Apple Pencil

Previously I wrote about using a whiteboard as a writing tool to get ideas out quickly. To date, my whiteboard stays jam packed with ideas, to do lists, and important dates to remember. The only regret I have, is not having the space to buy one massively bigger to potentially write entire blog posts on when the words hit hard and fast.

I’m a scatter brain writer. Sometimes the words come and can be typed out on my phone via the notes app. Other times I jot them down as a draft here on Medium. While others are squeezed into the corners and crevices on my whiteboard.

Lately I’ve taken to writing things down and have grown to dislike writing words down in notebooks. I’ll start a thought. Write it down. Then another will come. Write it down. And before I know it random notebooks are filled with scraps of unfinished thoughts and ideas.

The whiteboard has taught me that I’m more efficient writing out thoughts not just standing up, but writing them out period.

As a solution to the accumulation of so many notebooks, I purchased the Apple Pencil and downloaded the note taking app, Nebo to give it a try.

After only a day of use I’m very impressed.

Whatever I write can be transcribed to text. This text can then be copy and pasted to here on Medium, or any other…
