Whoever said being a parent was the hardest, most rewarding job one could ever have wasn’t lying.

Don’t get me wrong, my sons make me proud. But dammit if there aren’t days or moments, when I feel I could hurl their ass clean out the window with no remorse.

But then, as usual, I’d be the crazy one. Yep, the crazy mom who’s always overreacting to the smallest of things. Mom, the bad guy who is always the bad guy, right or wrong.

Last week, my son mentioned I don’t tell him I’m proud of him enough. He was in his feelings already over a previous situation, so I knew he didn’t exactly feel that way. As a mom, I want my sons to be proud of me too. I want them to ask me how my day was and tell me to have a good day the same as I do them when dropping them off in the morning. After coming home from a day of work, I too would like to be acknowledged. Not just when you want something. Last year, my youngest didn’t tell…
