I had a guy ask me to pay for the date then he would pay me back. Respectfully I declined. He called back twenty minutes later saying he came up with some money so we could go out. Found out he borrowed money from his mom! So I agree on not paying for a date. If he really wants to go out and make a good impression, he will figure it out.
