Men don’t care about body counts as much as you think
May 5 of this year will mark the one year anniversary death of internet personality Kevin Samuels. For those unaware, he became wildly popular for his YouTube and Instagram live streams, being brutally blunt and honest with men and women regarding the dating world.
Loved just as much hated, the sides seemed split with black women applauding his death while black men mourned it.
After hearing of his unfortunate passing, I knew his influence was too strong and impactful for his teachings to disappear. I recall telling a friend how his death would give rise to many “minions and imitators” wishing to fill his void.
Now, I’m not sure if he was the first to make a woman’s body count such a popular discussion in the manosphere. But it amazed me how much of a discussion a woman’s body count was on podcasts.
Themes of women being of lesser value with high body counts ran rampant through manosphere microphones. How men should always expect for a woman to lie about her count when asked because it’s higher than the number she reveals. How women with high counts are undateable and un-worthy of marriage.
This led me to believe that most men care about a woman’s body count and use it as a metric to her value and worth.
