Book Review: The Game of Life and How to Play It
If there was a book I needed to read twenty years ago, this would be it. One could claim I’m twenty years too late, or right on time. I’ll take the latter.
The author, Florence Shinn has masterfully intertwined spiritual laws, the Old and New Testaments, into an impressive reading on how the game of life can be successfully played.
At ten chapters deep and just under one hundred pages, The Laws of Prosperity, Nonresistance, Karma and Forgiveness are explained through stories and scripture. The Law of Nonresistance is my absolute favorite: agree that an adverse situation is good, be undisturbed by it, and it falls away of its own weight. With the current state affairs, who can’t use that right now?
This book was so good I bought it three times. Two copies are in the picture above. I also purchased the Kindle version for $.49 on Amazon. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
