Blocking Numbers Is Self Care Too
And not just the telemarketers or bill collectors. I’m talking about people who you once considered a friend, good associate, or acquaintance.
Self care takes many forms, but often we don’t think of it when it comes to the people we allow in our lives and they energy they bring.
A friend of mine who owns a towing business, for the past couple months has spoke about how less distracted he is since cutting certain people off.
I once had a “friend” get upset with me for cutting them off after they cut me off first.
Companies perform internal audits to see how well the company is doing or not within all facets of the business, as people, we should do the same.
Of course this is easier said than done. As humans, feelings are involved. So cutting certain people out may not seem feasible.
As we grow and evolve some things or people no longer have a place in our lives. And its up to us to cut the dead weight. Its called growing pains.
Anyone or anything that is not adding to your life is subtracting. Cut the fear and cut them.
Rid yourself of useless thoughts such as, I wonder what they’ll think. Who cares? This is your life and ultimately have the final say on who's in it.
