A few cool truths I’ve learned about men
Some of them may surprise you
There are some things even those of us who had fathers didn’t learn about men. Maybe it hadn’t crossed his mind. Or daddy didn’t want to hit his daughter with some ugly truths. How would she look at him?
Thanks to social media, gone are the days in relying on parents to school us. An exorbitant amount of information on men and women exist. Most voices are loud and wrong.
In the sake of my mental health, I’ve tuned them out and have begun reflecting on past and recent conversations with men.
Here’s some of my observations:
Men want to feel needed. Not used.
Actress Gabrielle Union revealed in an interview how she and former NBA superstar husband Dwyane Wade, split the bills 50/50. This set off a social media firestorm with mainly women, commenting, stitching, retweeting, how the vast difference in net worth obligates him to pay 100%.
The narrative of the “provider” man or man who pays all expenses has become extremely popular of late. YouTube influencer Shera, has spoke for years on how she found a provider man and teaches other women how to do the same.
